Apprenticeship training is a mixture of the following basic elements:

• A National Vocational Qualification (NVQ)
• Key/Functional Skills (Communication and Application of Number)
• A Technical Certificate

Most Apprenticeships are completed in less than 15 months and most of your training will be provided by your employer or TNG in the workplace. We will also advise you on what to expect from your employer in terms of your rights and responsibilities for things such as holiday, sickness etc.

Your employer will support you throughout the duration of your Apprenticeship and a structured programme will be followed to ensure you are making progress. You will also spend time off the job with TNG studying for vocational qualifications that will be useful in your job.
